A clear, practical guide to buying and selling locally in early access.
DealShop is opening gradually while we make the marketplace clearer, safer and more useful. Some capabilities are still being built and are labelled clearly as coming soon.

Your journey
Take your time at every stage. A good local deal should stay clear, calm and easy to verify.
Use search and filters to find relevant local listings. Read the full description instead of relying on a single photo.
Look at the photos, condition, price and seller profile. If an offer seems too good to be true, pause and verify it.
Ask practical questions in DealShop and agree the details before you travel. Do not share passwords, one-time codes or banking details.
For collection, choose a public, well-lit place. Inspect the item and its condition before you agree to complete a deal.
Safety, without false promises
DealShop uses protected member actions and reporting routes to help keep the marketplace organised. No online marketplace can guarantee every person or listing is genuine, so use the controls and trust your instincts.
Pressure to pay or respond immediately is a warning sign. A legitimate deal can wait while you check it.
Never share a password, one-time code or bank information with another member. Be careful with unfamiliar links and QR codes.
Use Report for suspicious behaviour. Keep the advert, messages and payment records if you need to explain what happened.
Not live in early access. Live escrow payments, payouts, identity checks, courier delivery and vehicle-data services are not available yet. Do not treat a coming-soon label as active protection.
Check it yourself
Independent checks are valuable. These direct public sources explain common scams, what to keep, and what to do if something feels wrong.
Start by browsing, then create an account when you are comfortable. If something is unclear, stop and ask before you act.
