Our commitment to data protection and your rights under EU law.
DealShop Ireland is fully committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We believe that privacy is a fundamental human right, and we have built our platform with data protection by design and by default.
We maintain a comprehensive Data Processing Register detailing what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how it is processed, and when it is deleted. This ensures full transparency in our data operations.
In the unlikely event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we have strict procedures in place. We will notify the Data Protection Commission (DPC) within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, and we will inform affected users without undue delay.
Signed-in users can export or delete their account from Dashboard → Settings (Privacy & your data). You can also exercise your GDPR rights by emailing our Data Controller at dealshop.ireland@gmail.com. We aim to respond to all legitimate requests within 30 days.
Our primary data infrastructure (Supabase, Vercel) is hosted on EU servers. Where we use global service providers (such as Stripe), they rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and other legal mechanisms to ensure your data remains protected when transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
If you have any questions regarding our GDPR compliance, please reach out to us at dealshop.ireland@gmail.com.
